MAGICAL FALL DAYS — blog by H A I L E Y

You guys...I'm so excited that fall is finally here! I hit us a bit late this year as the leaves finally started to change color and fall from the trees. Last week, it was still warm in the 70s and the trees were bright green. But pretty soon Fall will be over and Winter weather will come nipping at our noses! I still can't believe the year is coming to an end...I mean, can you believe that the Holidays are already here? Thanksgiving is this week, then Christmas and New Years will be here in a blink of an eye. I always feel so rushed during the Holiday season!

This year, Savannah and I have plans to visit my mom and sisters for the Holidays. My family live in Arkansas so we try to visit at least once or twice a year. To me, the Holidays are all about family fun! I don't get to see them very often as my other sister Ashley lives in Chicago so quality time is the best time with my sisters! Everytime I see them, we always exchange gifts. I love bringing them goodies and shopping for my nephew Michael is so easy since I buy Savannah clothes all the time.

One of my favorite stores to shop for baby + toddler clothes is Oshkosh! We LOVE shopping at OshKosh! In fact, every year I buy my nephew and nieces clothes from their Black Friday sales. I mostly shop online because it's convenient and our closest store is an hour away, but I also like to go in store because they have such great deals during the Holidays. The weather dropped below the 60s and I decided it was time to get Savannah more clothes for the Winter season and our upcoming travels. We plan on going to Tahoe when it snows and I can't wait to see Savannah's face when she sees snow for the first time!

Keeping Savannah entertained can be hard sometimes because she's very active! She loves to play and explore new places. I picked out some of the cutest outfits from OshKosh that she's been wearing to the parks and playgrounds. She's obsessed with unicorns and when I saw this unicorn sweater, I knew she had to have it! I found some blush pink cordouroy pants on clearance and this new star jacket is just to die for! Can't get any better than unicorns, stars, and a pop of pink! Seriously, I'm in love with this outfit...it's just too stinkin' cute!!! :)

We went to the McKinley Rose Gardens for the first time and Savannah loved it! She was super happy to see all the roses in bloom and was especially excited to jump in the piles of leaves! Her love for nature amazes me! She's so curious and I was so excited to teach her what Fall is. She knows that all the trees are changing color because she would point to the ones who were turning color. This season really is magical with all the fall foliage in California. We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful state and I am so glad that she stayed warm and cozy in her new clothes from OshKosh.
